New orders or alerts are not coming

An order arrived and my phone did not buzz, or the order is not on the board.

Alerts are still blocked on this device.

Why it happens

Alerts are set per device. Each phone or computer must turn them on once. On iPhone they only work from the Home Screen app. Orders that are still being built in chat are not on the board yet.

How to fix it

    Open Settings and tap Turn on alerts for this device. Allow it when the phone asks.

    Do it again on every other phone or computer that should buzz.

    iPhone: tap Add POSmates to the Home Screen first, then open the app from there and turn alerts on.

    If the phone says alerts are blocked, open the phone's settings for the browser or app and allow notifications.

  5. 5

    Open Orders and check Needs attention, New, Preparing, Ready, Out and Done. A customer who says they paid is in Needs attention.
