No receipt prints after a sale, or the cash drawer does not open

The printer works on a test, but a real sale prints nothing, or the drawer stays shut.

Why it happens

Printing after a sale is a setting. If it is Off or Kitchen, no receipt comes out. The drawer opens only on cash sales unless you change that.

How to fix it

    The owner opens Settings, then the Printing card.

    Set After a sale to Receipts or Both. Off and Kitchen print no customer receipt.

    For the drawer, switch on Open cash drawer. Under More options, choose Open drawer for: Cash sales or Every sale.

    Check the Drawer pin, then tap Test drawer.

    Kitchen tickets: choose Same printer or Separate printer. Online order receipts and kitchen tickets are off until you switch them on.
